Mother’s Day meal ideas

Looking for some Mother’s Day meal inspiration? Let mum put her feet up (or send this page to your children so that you can!) and take a look at our ideas for a delicious dinner on Mothering Sunday.

We’ve put together a collection of our favourite recipes to help you mix and match the perfect celebratory meal.

Choose your favourite starter, main and pudding for a three-course Mother’s Day meal to enjoy with all of the family.

Starter

Keep things fresh this Mother’s Day with a serving of our griddled chicken and peach salad. High in protein, this delicious salad is packed with wellbeing goodness.

Alternatively, enjoy a little joie de vivre with our take on French onion soup. Our lighter version of a classic tastes delicious served alongside a little toasted sourdough for a gut-friendly twist.

And, for a really joyful starter, be sure to try our Peruvian borlotti bean and avocado salad recipe. Inspired by the flavours of the Pacific coast, this salad is a vibrant taste sensation.

Main course

Serve up a showstopper of a main with our delicious roasted side of salmon recipe. Finished with a herby Brazil nut crust, it’s packed with good fats and vitamins D and B.

If you prefer a roast but don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen, try our slow-roasted leg of spring lamb. Marinate for up to 24 hours, then pop in the oven at breakfast time on feast day – it gives you more time to chat with the family and serves up a delicious main alongside baby vegetables.

Alternatively, keep things simple. You can’t go wrong with a good plate of pasta and we highly recommend our homemade tagliatelle with pistachio pesto. Use simple, fresh ingredients to serve up a satisfying main.

Pudding

Our beautiful pistachio and rose panna cotta offers delicate and floral flavours. Top with a smattering of dried petals and pistachio for a true showstopper of a pudding.

You can’t go wrong with chocolate – especially for a Mother’s Day dinner. Grab a spoon and dive into our gorgeous chocolate coconut mousse recipe.  Its rich flavour is a real treat to enjoy.

Plus for a real fruity treat, enjoy our blackberry frozen yoghurt. It’s a really light and delicious way to end a meal – it’s also free from refined sugar too.
