Ingredients

Method

  1. Cut the soap mixture into cubes and place in a microwaveable jug. Microwave for intervals of 30 seconds, stirring well each time to ensure it melts evenly.
  2. Add the poppy seeds and four tablespoons of dried lavender and mix well.
  3. Carefully pour the mixture into the silicone mould. Sprinkle over the remaining lavender and leave to set for at least 45 minutes.

If you’re cutting the lavender from your garden, you’ll need to leave it to dry out before adding to soap. Secure bunches with elastic, hang upside down and leave to dry in the sun or in a dry, dark place indoors for a week or two.
