Liz and Niamh (the founder of Travelwrap) first collaborated back in 2017 to produce a small number of exquisitely beautiful Liz Earle Wellbeing Travelwraps. Being a limited run, they sold out very quickly, and enquiries to find out if any more would ever materialise have never ceased. Back by popular demand, the luxurious Liz Earle Wellbeing Travelwrap is available to buy – and once more in limited numbers.
Niamh says: “The Liz Earle Wellbeing wrap is a stunning Fair Isle knit. It takes around 15 different processes to transform the raw fibre into each of our luxurious wraps, including dyeing, blending, carding, spinning, warping, knitting and hand-finishing.
“After the cashmere fibre has been blended into a colour or mix of fibres, it’s fed into a carding machine. This works like a giant comb to straighten the fibre in preparation for spinning, and then it is spun into yarn. This is twisted together to give it strength, and then knitted on a specialist machine. The Travelwraps are then carefully washed in the softest Scottish water to ensure they are gently restored to their natural super-soft state before being skilfully finished by hand.”
Travelwraps can be personalised by embroidering initials or even made to a bespoke design for an extra special gift. Plus, 10% of the sales from the Liz Earle Wellbeing Travelwrap will be donated to help support The Menopause Charity.
