“I’m a beauty expert – here’s what’s always in my makeup bag”

Discovering new products and getting formula recommendations can go a long way when we’re looking to revamp the contents of our makeup bag. That’s why we asked our founder, Liz Earle, to share the beauty items she can’t live without.

Blusher can work wonders for giving skin a healthy glow, and a cream formula is the perfect pick for midlife skin. Liz always keeps Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge Cream Blush in her makeup bag, opting for shade Pink Flame.

The blusher blends easily into skin and the creamy consistency means it’s less likely to result in a cakey, powdery finish.

It is highly pigmented – a little goes a long way – and is great for touching up on the go. It also doubles up as a lip tint, for a soft, diffused colour.

Studio10 Hydra-Lift Corrector, £25

Studio10’s creamy stick concealer has earn itself a permanent spot in Liz’s makeup case.

Hydra-Lift Corrector’s non-drying, non-cakey formula blends into the skin seamlessly. The concealer helps to hide any blemishes, brightens the under eye area and adds extra coverage to wherever you may need.

Charlotte Tilbury Rock n Khol Eye Liner, £24

An eye pencil is an easy win to enhance any look and take it from day to night.

Like a mini comb just for your lashes, an eyelash separator is an easy way to keep lashes soft and fluttery and avoid a clumpy, spider-like look once mascara has been applied.

Be gentle when running the comb through your lashes to avoid any tugging, and keep clean in between uses.
