About Blyth Rise Stays

Family-run Blyth Rise Stays is an idyllic haven to relax and reconnect with nature. Set in ten acres of land, the six Lake Lodges and six Woodland Igluhuts have a ringside view of the changing seasons and glorious Suffolk countryside. The floor-to-ceiling French windows in each room of the Lake Lodges overlook wild grasses, a lake strewn with waterlilies, and all sorts of flowers, depending on the time of year. It is also possible to spot rabbits, hares, deer, a visiting otter and the resident owl.

The two-bedroom lodges are spacious and well-equipped. Blyth Rise Stays is all about simple comfort – the bathroom floors are heated, the toiletries are made locally by Norfolk Natural Living, there’s a fully equipped kitchen (including  dishwasher), and bespoke artwork hangs on the walls. For a replenishing night’s sleep, the beds are king-sized with Hypnos mattresses and Egyptian cotton bed linen. Outside on the deck, enjoy the great outdoors whatever the temperature, with a firepit and barbecue.

Whether you’re seeking countryside adventure or the chance to unwind, Blyth Rise Stays offers the best of both worlds in one of England’s most beautiful counties. On site, relax in one of the luxurious Iglu saunas, sit and read by the water, take a yoga class or have a massage, or simply kick back until it’s time to light the barbecue, pour a drink and watch a famous Suffolk sunset. Don’t forget to look up after dark as the full canopy of stars reveals itself, unfettered by light pollution.

There’s plenty to explore in the wider area too, with trips to the Suffolk coast and its wide, sweeping beaches, plus historical sites such as Framlingham Castle, Sutton Hoo and
ancient underwater city of Dunwich.

Blyth Rise is well connected by a huge network of public footpaths for stunning countryside walks, and is a ten-minute walk to the pretty village of Laxfield with its small shop, church and two pubs.

The prize also includes a large, locally-sourced breakfast hamper with sourdough bread, local Bungay butter from Fen Farm, fresh apple juice, a bottle of wine and much more. There’s unlimited use of the woodland Iglu saunas and one yoga class pass per person (subject to weather) on the outdoor yoga platform.

2. Competition is open to UK and RoI residents aged 18 or over.
3. Entrants may be contacted by Liz Earle Wellbeing and Blyth Rise Stays in connection with this offer, and will be asked if they wish to opt in to receive marketing communications from Liz Earle Wellbeing and Blyth Rise Stays. 4. The winner’s details will be shared with Blyth Rise Stays so that they can arrange their prize.
5. A limit of one entry per person will apply.
6. No bulk, third party or automated entries are accepted.
7. No responsibility is accepted for any entries that are incomplete, lost or delayed or are unable to be handed in because of any technical fault or other reason.
8. The start date of the competition is 1st March 2023 and the competition will close midnight 30th April 2023.
9. One will be selected at random after the competition has closed and will recieve a three-night weekend or four-day weekday stay at Blyth Rise Stays. Accommodation included is for up to a maximum 4 people. Prize also includes a breakfast hampers, use of the woodland saunas and one yoga class. Yoga class is weather dependent.

11. Transfers are not included.
12. The prize must be taken before 31st December 2023 and excludes Bank Holidays, Christmas, New Year and Retreat weekends.
13. The winner may be requested to take part in publicity.
14. The prize is non-transferable and valid upon confirmation with Blyth Rise Stays.
15. The prize cannot be exchanged for a cash prize and we reserve the right to replace the prize for one of equal value without notice.
16. The winner will be contacted via email by the Liz Earle Wellbeing team. If no response is received by the Wellbeing team from the winner within one week of our email, we cannot guarantee that the prize will still be available.
