Oatally delicious: baked blackberry breakfast oats
Porridge is a fantastic way to start the day with a slow release of energy, but baking oats makes them feel somehow more like a warm, flapjack-esque treat, while still being a healthy breakfast option. This is a great dish to make in bulk to keep you going for several mornings in a row, but with its moreish, crunchy pecan topping, it takes serious effort not to eat a whole batch in one go.
Salad days: Parma ham and blackberry salad
Serving blackberries in a savoury dish gives us an appreciation of their versatile uses. The sweetness of the berries offsets the salty parma ham and tangy stilton for a truly satisfying light lunch or starter. Packed with antioxidants, this salad will give you a healthy glow as the temperatures start to drop.
