Gut Health

Summer gut health explained, with Bimuno

As the days get warmer and the nights get longer, it’s not uncommon to overindulge on food and drink. There are lots of different occasions where it’s important to help support your good gut bacteria, whether it be following a bout of antibiotics, attending a summer party or if you’re planning a holiday to somewhere exotic. Looking after your good gut bugs can help to ensure they continue to look after you. This is where Bimuno comes in.

Bimuno is a daily prebiotic supplement designed to make everyday gut health simple, from just 39p per day. And it’s proven to make a difference in just seven days.*

What are the benefits?

Each serving of Bimuno is full of prebiotic fibres to nourish the gut and support a healthy gut environment. Bimuno can help to settle your stomach, giving you an added resistance against gut issues while on holiday. According to the NHS statistics, over 40% of UK travellers experience gut or digestive issues each year while abroad, with 26% actively avoiding countries where the risk is perceived to be high.

Will it help prevent digestive issues on holiday?

Taking Bimuno seven days prior to travelling and for the duration of the trip, has been shown to reduce the incidence of an unsettled gut and the length of time you may suffer from it. Whether travelling for business or pleasure, we can all do without these interruptions to our schedules.

This is what one happy customer had to say about Bimuno:

“I usually have stomach problems when I travel. I’ve just returned from an 11-day trip to Eastern Europe and can honestly say that this is the first holiday I’ve had with no digestive issues. Thank you Bimuno” – Mary (Bimuno customer)

How do you take it?

Bimuno comes in handy individual sachets, which can be added to both food and drink at any time of the day. Add it to your morning smoothie, stir it through a bowl of porridge or sprinkle it on your salad at lunch. Simply take one sachet per day – start with half a sachet for the first week if you have a sensitive stomach.

When you travel, Bimuno can be stored in your hand luggage or in your carry on. Thanks to the daily sachets, you don’t have to carry round big tubs of powder and simply carry one sachet for each day you are on holiday.

How quickly will you see results?

It takes around three days to start feeding your Bifidobacteria (the good bacteria in your gut), and on days four to seven, you may feel some slight gurgling in your tummy – this is a good sign as it means Bimuno is starting to reset your gut microbiome. By days eight to 14, studies show Bimuno will have changed the make-up of your gut bacteria, and as you continue to take it (which is recommended for the best results), it’ll help keep your gut in peak condition.

Does it really work?

Studies have shown that, with daily use, most Bimuno users experience a significant increase in their levels of good bacteria within seven days. In fact, Bimuno is the most studied prebiotic of its kind – supported by over 100 scientific publications, helping you support your health and wellbeing by feeding the ‘good’ bacteria in your gut. Making it a tried and tested way to support your health.
