Homemade foot scrub recipe

With summer well underway, it’s time to put your best foot forward. Get your feet sandal ready with this easy homemade foot scrub.

This soothing treatment will quickly get your feet feeling silky smooth and soft. The best part is that you probably already have the ingredients in your kitchen at home.

Grab a mixing bowl, have a towel to hand and read on to make your own foot scrub at home.

How to make a foot scrub

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp of oatmeal
  • 1 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil

Method to make

1) Take a small mixing bowl and place the sugar and oatmeal into the bowl.

2) Stir in the honey, lemon juice, and olive oil. You’re looking for a paste-like consistency.

Method to treat

Place a towel on the floor and rub the scrub between your hands and gently massage into the feet. You might also like to massage this into the lower legs too. For an intensive treatment, wrap a warm hand towel around each foot for 10 minutes. Rinse off using a flannel and warm water.
